El Tour de Tucson
I'm a triathlete and a recreational Crossfitter. Mt. Lemmon is one of the routes I ride for some endurance climb work and the farthest I've gotten in the past was 12 miles but today, I rode my first 14 miles, stopping at Windy Point. My goal is to get to Summerhaven (the very top, 26 miles) as part of my El Tour de Tucson training. I teamed up with Tu Nidito, a non-profit organization and will be riding in honor of a special child. It motivates me to do this for a special someone especially when training gets tough like today, I think of Tu Nidito, Max and all the other children who are counting on me to do my part.report abuse
