I started to move and now I can't stop!
I was 260 lbs and decided to get moving. Not a short term thing, but the real deal. I wanted ALL of the benefits of leading a healthier life, so that is what I did. I cut all processed foods, white refined sugars and carbs, and only drank water. One day a week at a meal I would have a sweet tea or flavored water. I have researched workouts, nutrition, and lost over 87 lbs and an obscene amount of inches. lol I started running from one mailbox to the next, until I was signed up for my first marathon 11 months into my new healthy lifestyle. It motivated me to train and keep going. Being from Florida, I went to Philadelphia from FL and finished 26.2 miles with my Uncle Glenn. I still had goals and unhealthy fat to lose, but I did it. The most inspiring and motivating adventure of my life and I am forever changed. It all started with a want and determination that I was not letting disappear again. It was for keeps.report abuse
